Some web addresses are easier to remember than others. I like to think GratitudeCocktail.com is catchy, but it’s got nuthin’ on LoveYourVagina.com, a website for a girlie product called Mooncup that American women aren’t ready for yet (at least according to the FDA). Personally, I want the FDA to stay out of my vagina, and let me decide if I’d like to use it for good or evil. My vagina is like one of those Harry Potter Death Eaters, sucking the life out of any guy that gets near it. (Wait, I can’t believe I just wrote that, cross that out.) My vagina is a delicate flower, filled with rainbows and the occasional unicorn – if I get lucky.

LoveYourVagina a brilliant way to promote a product for women created by a woman. The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup -- now before you freak out, consider this, women are now searching for safe, eco-friendly alternatives to tampons and pads -- enter the Mooncup, which is used by women all over the world (except for the US).

By far, the best part of the site is where girls submit pet names for their, well…you’ll see. A few of my favs are Popolina, Madam Gina Von Pinkerton, Smitten kitten, Tea cake and the long, yet descriptive, My super wondrous extra special pink lady with the flora and fauna that brings all the worthy gentlemen to their knees in worship of her most holy of holies. I’m grateful for the Mooncup and I hope it'll be available in the US soon, because just like girls all over the world, American women want happy, healthy Madam gina von pinkerton’s – I wonder if that web address is taken?
