I have no idea what catechin polyphenols are, or what epigallocatechin gallate is but apparently you can find them in green tea. These unpronounceables are powerful anti-oxidants which manage to do some amazing things like inhibit the growth of cancer cells, lower LDL cholesterol levels, reduce heart disease and most important to me -- prevent bad breath.
While the health benefits of green tea are almost as remarkable as those of red wine, I can’t drink a mug of Merlot on my commute to work. So I start the day with the next best thing, a cup of organic green tea. And as a functioning tea-aholic, I can confidently share with you the best place to buy tea, Two Leaves and a Bud. While their name sounds like a company where you’d buy another type of green leaf for “medicinal reasons,” I can assure you, they have the most amazing tea I’ve ever had the pleasure to sip -- and spill down the front of my shirt on my aforementioned commute.
I’m grateful for Two Leaves and a Bud because the extensive tea selection on their site makes my heart pitter-patter -- even more than it does after I’ve had six cups of tea (yes, I found out the hard way, green tea has caffeine.) If you’re not sure which tea is right for you, call them up. I spoke with a really nice girl who introduced me to Jasmine Pearls. Forget about eHarmony, Two Leaves and a Bud is where you’ll find something you’ll love waking up to every morning.
That’s why I’m grateful for Two Leaves and a Bud.
